Camp Amp is a nightly music camp (Sun. 5:30-6:30, M-TH 6:30-9, Concert Friday night) for kids going into the first through sixth grade who would like the experience of performing with a live band or dance team on stage.  We can take kids who have musical experience and kids who don't.  One way or the other, they'll be performing in some way in the Friday  night concert.

 

Kids can sign up to play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, bass, keys or to sing or dance.  If a child is proficient at another instrument he/she would like to play, we will try to accommodate.



Schedule:

Sunday (5:30- 6:30 pm) Check-in, large group time and quick rotations.  Parents stay on Sunday night for large group time and then a parent meeting during the kids' quick rotations.

Monday - Thursday (6:30 - 9 pm)
Each night every band will have large group time with everyone, studio time (working on their song together), snack time, and other music instruction time.  

Friday :: Concert and Reception

Bands will show up at 6:30 and run through a sound check.  Concert time will be announced.  Parents please follow instructions on waiting for the concert to begin to help us keep congestion down and get ready for the concert faster.
